Taking Turns is a duo/trio with Keith The Hat Guy on guitar or bass and occasional vocals, Takis on lead vocals, with featured guests sitting in for a few songs or a set on vocals, guitar, violin, and more.
We take turns.
Taking Turns regularly played in the Stuart area in 2019 with Takis on lead vocals and Keith on guitar and occasional vocals, with other singers and guitarists sitting in at some gigs including Forrest King, Priscilla, Kyle Carpenter, and O'Donna. In 2019 we recorded a number of music videos and audio-only sessions, live and studio, some available below. The project went into hiatus for two years when Takis moved to the west coast, then got back on the scene in 2021 with several lead singers. For 2023 Takis is back on the Treasure Coast! We return with Takis on lead vocals, Keith The Hat Guy on guitar, and occasional guests sitting in.
Our genres? Not sure what it should be named other than “interesting”. From Pasty Cline to Guns 'n Roses. Elvis Presley to Britney Spears. We play tunes by the Beatles, Dolly Parton, Eagles, Tracy Chapman, Billy Joel, Chris Isaak, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Echo And The Bunnyman, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Prince, Mazzy Star, Van Morrison, Indigo Girls.

We performed together for the first time at NOTES in 2018, when Keith filled in for a last minute guitarist cancellation, with Takis and Priscilla taking turns singing.
